Tips to make your role as a Curator as easy as possible!

Celeb has a variety of Closet Settings than allow you to customize your rental experience. You access the Closet Settings differently on web and our app.

  • Web: Click your profile photo in the website header, then select "Manage Closet." Select the Closet Settings tab near the top of the page.

  • Mobile: Go to your Profile, then click the Settings button in the top right of the screen, and select Manage Closet. Then, select the Closet Settings tab near the top of the page.

Bundle and Duration Discounts

You can adjust your Bundle and Duration discounts on the closet settings page. When editing each Discount, you will see guidance on the minimum and maximum allowable discounts. For more information, check out our article about these Discounts!

Delivery Preferences

Celeb allows Items to be transported in three ways:

  • Meet Up: the Curator and Customer meet up to receive the Items.

  • Shipping: the Item is shipped via USPS.

  • Courier: the Item is transported locally via Uber Courier.

By default, all three delivery options are enabled for your items. If you don't plan to use one of these methods, you can remove it from your Delivery Preferences list. Don't worry, you can always re-add it!

Future Item listings you create will have these Delivery Preferences as their default options.

Upon removing or adding a preference, you will be asked if you'd like to change it as an option for your existing Items.

Meet Up Instructions

If a Customer chooses to get an Item from you via Meet Up, this message will be shown to them on their Order page once they have paid. If you have a go-to meet up point or preferred times, you can specify that here. If you run a resale shop, you can specify an address, hours, and pickup details.

Advance Notice

Advance Notice is the minimum heads up you require before an item must be shipped out or handed off. Many local Customers like to book items same day or next day, so making this time shorter will get you more usage! If you don't want to operate on a tight timeline, you can set your Advance Notice to be longer.

Booking Buffer

Many Items need to be washed or dry cleaned between wears. If you want more time to do this, the Booking Buffer allows you to adjust the amount of time blocked off after the date you receive an Item back. If you get the Item ready faster, you can always mark it as Ready from your Listings page in Manage Closet.
