Listing an Item on Celeb
Accessing the Create Listing Page
When logged in, press the + button in the top right of the website’s header to list an item! If you’re not logged in, create an account or sign in to list an item!
On our app, press "List" in the bottom navbar! This is only available if you don't have any items in your cart.
Creating your Listing Name
Celeb automatically generates your listing name as a combination of your selections for Brand, Style Name, and Type/Subtype.
Select your item’s Brand, Type (e.g., Bag, Dress), Subtype, if applicable (such as Maxi Dress), and Style Name (such as “Renata,” “Rialto,” or "Yeezy 350V2 Oreo").
Style names should not include the type of item! Write "Renata" not "Renata Dress"
This standardized naming system ensures your items are easy to find and saves you some typing too.
You are able to add new Brands and Style names. if you don't see your item's type, reach out and we'll assist you!
Other Item Details
Specify the item’s Gender, Size and Color from our dropdown menus.
if Size selection isn't appearing, select a Gender and Item Type/Subtype first!
Write an item description telling people more about the item, how it fits, its condition, any defects, and anything else people should know about it!
Upload high-quality images of the item. See our guide here on photo do’s and dont's!
Price Information
Specify the Retail Price of the item!
If the item is rare, and sells for more than retail, list the current resale price of the item from a trusted marketplace like StockX, GOAT, etc.
Including the retail price will serve as an anchor to show people how much better it is to rent the item than buy it, and also helps us resolve damage/lost item disputes.
Set your Weekly Rental Fee!
When you enter a retail price, we will automatically recommend a rental price basedo n market data. You are free to adjust this as you please.
Remember, lower prices are more competitive and will lead to more rentals!
Set the Sale Price if you're willing to sell your item
If not, uncheck the box next to "Yes! I'm willing to sell my item"
Extras
Set your item’s Address. This will be used to coordinate delivery of the item.
Your saved Addresses will be selectable from a dropdown. If you'd like to add a new address, click "Add Address" beside the Address header.
After choosing an address, you can optionally enter Apt, Unit, Suite, or Floor for your address.
You should also add Courier Pickup Instructions and Return Delivery Instructions for your item. Here, you can specify where to drop the package, gate/building codes, info about doormen, and anything else that would be helpful for pickup/return.
Under Extras, you can add some additional info to help optimize your listing, including:
The Original Link to the item’s retail listing! We'll use this to optimize the information in your listing on our end
Up to two Style Guides that give people ideas on how to style the item (and make it easier to find via search!)
Delivery Preferences. By default, the item can be delivered by courier, meet up, or shipping. Remove any method you don’t want! The more methods you offer, the easier it’ll be for your item to be used.
I don't see my item's size, type, or subtype!
If you don't see the relevant size, item type, or item subtype for your item, let us know what you're trying to upload and we'll make sure it gets added to our database! Once it has been added, we will update your listing with the new info
